Value added tax

Legal guardianship services are exempt from value added tax pursuant to § 4 Nr. 16 Buchst. k Umsatzsteuergesetz (UStG). No value added tax is therefore shown for these services.

Privately rendered care services that do not fall under this exemption will, where applicable, be invoiced plus the statutory value added tax.

out-of-court legal services (RDG)

No independent legal services within the meaning of the RDG are provided. Activities that require a legal examination of the individual case (e.g. legal advice or representation, the review or drafting of contracts, or the substantiation or lodging of legal remedies) are not part of our offering and are not undertaken (§§ 2, 3 RDG). Insofar as unavoidable points of contact with the law arise in the course of the main activity, contributions are limited to permissible ancillary services that are strictly subordinate to the main activity in terms of content, scope and factual context (§ 5 RDG); for matters beyond this, we always refer to authorised third parties.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

According to §§ 8 bis 10 DDG, however, as a service provider we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate an unlawful activity. Liability in this regard is, however, only possible from the point in time at which a specific infringement of the law becomes known.
